Our Leak Finding Process
Leak Detection Start:
Our on site visit will include a short interview to get the history of the leak and specific key details that help determine how far outside the leak is beginning.
Investigate Basement
We go into the basement and inspect where the leak occurs. We document the location and then use this outside. We find important clues that show how far from the house the leak could be starting.
Investigate Outside
We then take the information regarding the leak, and start to narrow down the components of the drainage system that are most likely to be causing the leak. We start with the source of the water, and trace the water path to the final destination - usually the City storm water system.
Testing Options
We test most likely candidates for the leak and through trial and error, we can isolate the very source of the leak. We often recreate the leak, exactly in the spot in the basement (if the owner permits). Giving 100% confirmation of the leak source.

We then give detailed ideas how to fix the leak. We work with your budget, time constraints and level of skill. We can write detailed reports showing you how to fix the leak. The reports can be used to get bids from multiple contractors. They also can document the steps taken to solve the water issue.
Final Stage
For the DIY (do it yourselfer) we’ll instruct you the best methods and materials to use. If you don’t want to do the work yourself, and don’t know who to call to do the work, we can give you recommendations for the best person to do the job.
