Big Problem: Waterproofing is more that Gutters

 

I had an investigation (in Lincoln Nebraska) where the home had REALLY bad gutters.

SO, the question that's probably on your mind is:  Why not just replace gutters?  Why do you need an expert to tell you that?

Answer:  They had many many other problems.

When there’s a big problem with the gutter, or perhaps one of the other waterproofing systems (see Root Causes below), there’s probably more problems with other water proofing systems.

In addition to bad gutters, the owner had several other problems: issues withs downspout,  a valley in a roof that bypassed the gutter entirely (very awkward connection, nearly the entire back yard did not drain correctly.  And to top it off, his neighbor was dumping water near his foundation.
